You body burns about 1000 calories a day even if you don't do any exercise while breathing, digesting, brain functions etc
So do the math. And all the people who are saying eat protein make me laugh out loud. Protein doesn't make you fat. Fat and carbs will make you fat.
Eat bread and butter, muffins, cake, icecream, donuts, any bakery food, pizza etc, basically anything with dough and flour and rice. Simple carbs such as sugar, candy, chocolate will make you fat. Fast food is an easy way to gain weigh also. Order large fries, 2 quarter pounders. Sleep right after you eat and in 2 weeks, you can gain up to 15lbs. GL

it's about the same calories, but different glycemic index, meaning white rice will make your insulin shoot high up very fast, leaving you hungrier even though you just ate, while brown rice will keep you full longer, because it's whole grain and has many layers. HEY, how about brown rice? is it lighter than white rice?
Rice in general is a very bad empty carb and has no nutritional value. If you're on a diet, I'd cut it out.

yeh, i am kinda on diet.
i only eat one meal in the afternoon which contains brown rice and steamed veges
and drink water like hippo
first was soo tasteless, but after all i am losing weight every week i guess,
i cut my all sweets, all meats(occasionally i eat fish), cigarettes and alcohol.
it iz tough sometimes. now i have to cut my brown rice, what should i eat then?
i only eat one meal in the afternoon which contains brown rice and steamed veges

I would cut out the rice and eat more meat, especially chicken and tuna. Both of which has no fat, NO carbs and lots of protein and low in calorie combined with lots of steamed vegetables. Beef is okay, but it's high in fat.
The reason why you should cut out carbs, is because your body uses carbs for energy first, even before fat. The carbs u ate during the day is digested and turned to glucose in ur liver which then is used for energy, your liver fills ur muscle and brain and everything with glucose for energy. And when you don't use those extra glucose in your liver and muscles through exercise it is stored as body fat (blehh I know
And when you cut out carbs, the only things u will be eating is meat and diary which are high in protein and has moderate fat, which will help you maintain ur lean body muscle while burning ur body fat for energy through ketosis, best of the both worlds, because you don't wanna lose ANY muscle, because muscle burns calories.
